In early childhood classrooms, love looks like sharing toys, waiting for a turn, helping a friend, and learning how to express big feelings safely. February gives us the perfect opportunity to slow down and intentionally teach these moments.

Simple activities like emotion flashcards, kindness crafts, and affirmation circles help children name their feelings and build empathy. These lessons don’t have to be complicated—sometimes the most meaningful learning happens during story time or group discussions.
